Education and Experiences

Blackstone Valley Tourism Council is a member of the Rhode Island Environmental Education Association, and our programs are designed to include STEM practices, Next Generation Science Standards, and Environmental Literacy.

Blackstone River Expeditions is excited to offer guided kayak group tours on the Blackstone River departing from Central Falls Landing. On your journey you’ll learn about the Blackstone River Valley and explore the hidden spots along the river with the chance to see the many species of wildlife that call this waterway home including egrets, painted turtles, cormorants, osprey, and “Sam” the lone mute swan.
