One of the Best Ways to Experience Blackstone Valley is on the River!!

Adventure is calling on the water!

Blackstone River Expeditions is excited to offer 90-minute guided group kayak tours along the beautiful Blackstone River, departing from Central Falls Landing.

Paddle through the heart of the Blackstone River Valley as experienced guides share stories of the river’s rich history and lead you to hidden spots you might otherwise miss. Along the way, keep your eyes open for incredible wildlife — from graceful egrets and painted turtles sunning on logs to cormorants, osprey soaring overhead, and even “Sam,” the river’s well-known lone mute swan.

It’s the perfect way to explore, learn, and experience the natural beauty of the Blackstone Valley from a whole new perspective.

These 90-minute Guided Group Tours Run on Select Days from June to October at 10:00 AM & 12:00 PM. Advanced Booking Required.

Rentals are available for sit-on single kayaks or sit-in tandem kayaks (two people). NOTE: A minimum number of kayakers will need to have signed up for the session to run. Also, tours are rain or shine, but no tours will run if the Blackstone River is running too fast (over 1,000 cubic feet/sec by reading the USGS gauge).

Water Chestnut Clean Ups

Looking for a way to have simple, fun on the kayaks and make a real difference?

When you paddle out on the Blackstone River, you’re not just enjoying the sunshine and scenery — you can also help give back to our community and environment. Join us in hand-picking water chestnuts, an invasive plant species that spreads quickly and harms the river’s ecosystem. By removing them directly from the water, we help protect native wildlife, improve water flow, and preserve the natural beauty of the Blackstone for everyone to enjoy.

It’s hands-on conservation, right from your kayak — a rewarding way to explore the river while being part of something bigger. Let’s paddle with purpose!
