Our Mission is to increase and inspire sustainable tourism in Rhode Island's Blackstone Valley. At Blackstone Valley Tourism Council, we continually work to improve how we:

  • Develop Tourism while maintaining the ecological balance of the Blackstone River Valley

  • Protect the Environment through education on the river and in our RiverClassroom

  • Increase Community Pride by enhancing the social fabric of our communities and lifting the quality of life for the people who live and work in our Blackstone River Valley

  • Improve the Economy by promoting all our businesses, programs and events in the ten cities and towns

The Blackstone Valley Tourism Council is constantly raising funds to support many of its projects and day to day services. Our donors have been extremely instrumental in our success. If you would like to support our continuing efforts to strengthen the region’s environment through education and development, donations may be made to the Blackstone Valley Heritage Environmental Trust Fund.
